Rosemary Motamedi

Head Volleyball Coach

Rosemary Motamedi was named head coach of the revitalized women’s volleyball program in 2016. Coach Mo has coached a variety of sports at all age levels for the past 22 years and brings a wealth of collegiate, high school and club volleyball experience to Henry Ford College.

Coach Mo served as Interim Head Coach at Oakland Community College in 2015 after a two-year stint as Assistant Volleyball Coach at Macomb Community College. Both programs qualified for post-season competition as representatives of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA).

Prior to coaching at the collegiate level, Coach Mo had a successful career coaching club and high school volleyball across Southeast Michigan. She has coached with a variety of club programs including the Oakland Smash, Oakland Elite Volleyball, Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy and the Macomb Juniors. In addition, she has led programs at Romeo High School and Avondale High School.

Coach Mo is a native of Memphis, Tennessee but considers Michigan her home. She has a loving family including her husband Mohammad, daughter Yasi and son Babak.
