Jennifer Stewart, M.S.

Jennifer Stewart serves as the program coordinator and lead instructor of the ASL program at Henry Ford College, where she helped develop the course curriculum for the Certificate of Deaf Studies. Stewart obtained her Associate of Applied Science in ASL Interpretation for the Deaf and a Deaf Studies Certificate from Sinclair Community College. While working as an ASL Interpreter, she continued her education and received a B.S. in ASL Interpretation for the Deaf, then earned a M.S. in Special Education, and a Teaching Certificate for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students from Saint Joseph's University. She is also an ASL instructor and curriculum advisor for online ASL instruction, a member of the ASTLA, an Honor Society member and an ASL Club advisor. Stewart holds an Advanced rating SLPI score and a 4 ASLPI score.
