24-Hour Environmental Hotline

HFC utilizes the Wayne County Department of Public Services 24-Hour Environmental Hotline to document citizen complaints pertaining to water pollution and water quality. If you have a concern or wish to report illegal activities, please utilize this hotline.

EGLE Hotline

Use the EGLE Pollution Emergency Alerting System (PEAS) hotline at 800-292-4706 to report spills, releases, or other environmental emergencies involving:

  • Air
  • Land
  • Water
  • Groundwater
  • Wetlands
  • Dams
  • Landfills
  • Hazardous or Radioactive Materials
