Political Science - Civic Action Project

The Civic Action Project: Promoting Student Involvement in the Political Process

The Civic Action Project at Henry Ford Community College promotes democracy through the development of creating civically literate and participatory young people. The project is an the outcome of a joint

effort between Henry Ford Community College and the League of

Women Voters Dearborn-Dearborn Heights. The project promotes

a series of educational activities that provide students with the

experiences helpful for them as citizens who will be political empowerment. Students participate in political participatory

activities throughout the year.
