Child Development

Courses in Child Development can lead to the CDA, the professional credential for work in child care fields. The CDA credential is the licensing requirement for child care teachers and/or child care center directors in many states. Other courses in Child Development can lead to an associate’s degree, which can lead to employment in child care or a transfer to a university for additional education.
