Dance
HFCC has a vibrant and lively dance program. High-quality courses are taught by HFCC instructors in Tap, Modern Dance and Jazz.
Many guest dance artists and choreographers also have worked at HFCC in a variety of genres including Flamenco, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Classical Indian, Ballroom and Folk. The artists teach master classes and compose dances for the Full Circle Dance Company.
The Full Circle Dance Company is open to HFCC students and provides intensive training and performance opportunities. For the past 10 years HFCC students have participated in the American College Dance Festival, which takes place at different host colleges. At the Festival, students have dances adjudicated, take master classes, attend dance concerts and perform.

Diane Mancinelli has been a full-time dance instructor at Henry Ford Community College since 1987. She directs the Henry Ford Community College Dance Program and HFCC’s Full Circle Dance Company and has produced and directed 20 annual spring dance concerts at HFCC.
Mancinelli has led the Dance Company to the American College Regional Dance Festival XX times. In 2001 she took the Full Circle Dance Company to Italy to perform in one of the country's biggest summer festivals. In addition she has choreographed numerous musicals at HFCC including, The Wiz, Music Man, Pippin, Cabaret, Oklahoma!, Damn Yankees, South Pacific, Finian's Rainbow, and Little Mary Sunshine.
She also created and produced three dance concerts for children, "d is for DANCE," "Food for Thought" and "T'was the Night Before Christmas," for which she received the Distinguished Service to the Arts award from the State of Michigan and the City of Farmington Hills. In 2000 she was the recipient of the Dearborn Mayor's Arts Educator Award in 2000.
Mancinelli holds a bachelor of science and master of education degree from Wayne State University.
