Pre-Education University Transfer Sessions

We are fortunate to have developed strong relationships with our university partners.  They are very generous with their time and offer Meet & Greet and Individual Advising sessions on our campus for your convenience.  Please take advantage of the opportunity to meet with university representatives and get your questions answered about the transfer process and their recommendations for which courses to take at HFCC before transferring to their institutions.

For Fall 2009, the following events have been scheduled.  Please watch for flyers on bulletin boards for updates.

Meet & Greet EMU College of Education Afternoon will be held on Thursday, October 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Ghafari Conference Room (T-123) located in the Technology Building. The Teacher Education Department Head, Don Bennion and the Transfer Student Advisor, Linda Lewis-White will be available to discuss EMUs teacher education programs and transfer procedures.  Individual advising is available.

Individual Advising Appointments will be held on November 5. Professor Linda Lewis-White will hold individual advising appointments from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please contact Professor Lewis-White at llewiswh@emich.edu or Ms. Zopf at dzopf@hfcc.edu to make an appointment.  

Meet & Greet EMU College of Education Afternoon will be held on Wednesday, September 30 from noon to 3 p.m. in the Ghafari Conference Room (T-123) located in the Technology Building.  Interim Dean Paul Fossum will be present to discuss UM-Dearborns teacher education programs.  Ms. Joann Otlewski will be available to advise students who have current transcripts.  Bring your questions and transcript to learn more about UM-Dearborns programs and get advice on the courses to take at HFCC that will apply toward your associates and bachelors degrees.
