Train for careers of the future in the 21st-Century Technical Communications program. Earn a 30-31 credit hour certificate in the growing field of internet, cable, and telephone installation, repair, customer relations, and sales.

This certificate is designed to train you for a future career in information and communication technology with a focus on expertise in infrastructure and installation project management.

Technical Concentration**
This certificate is designed to train you for a future career in information and communication technology with a focus on networking concepts, router and switch configurations, remote networks, Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANS), and Wide Area Networks (WANs).Students who complete this certificate have the knowledge and skills to take the CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam.

**Students who complete the Technical Concentration are prepared to take the CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification Exam.

Work on an Associate's Degree

Students who complete the 21st-Century Technical Communications certificate can apply all credits toward an associate's degree at Henry Ford Community College. Students must take Henry Ford Community College's placement test and, if appropriate, take the developmental course(s) needed.
