For Guest Students

Students who typically choose this category will attend HFCC part time or full time to take classes that will transfer back to their home institutions.

	Apply For Admission Complete the Michigan Uniform Undergraduate Guest Application (MUGA) and have it approved by your home institution, Apply Online or visit our information area in the Welcome Center on the first floor of the Learning Resources Center to pick up an application. Your application fee is waived.
	Register For Classes Register Online for your classes easily with WebAdvisor or through telephone registration at 313-317-4100.
	Pay for Classes There are a number of great options to help with paying for tuition at HFCC. EZ Pay Program Scholarships

Benefits of applying with the Michigan Uniform Undergraduate Guest Application (MUGA)

1. You avoid HFCC admission requirements such as proof of high school graduation or college transcript.
2. Some colleges approve specific HFCC courses.   We will accept these specific recommendations in place of pre reqs and/or Course Placement test requirements.  Exception:  MATH 121, MATH 153, & MATH 180 - These courses always require Associate Dean permission.
3. Some colleges promise, in advance, that a specific HFCC course will transfer back as a specific course at your home institution (provided you pass the course).
4. You are already accepted at HFCC before you register (provided the MUGA is received with enough lead time).
