For First Time in HFCC & Degree/Certificate Seeking

Students who typically choose this path will attend HFCC part time or full time to pursue a Certificate of Achievement or an Associate's Degree.


In addition, this is the correct path if any of the following is true -
  You are seeking financial aid
  You are NOT SEEKING an HFCC Certificate or Degree but still plan to take more than 15 credit hours at HFCC

Apply Online or visit our admissions information area in the Welcome
Center on the first floor of the Learning Resources Center. You can also open and print the application.
Apply For Financial Aid
Apply Online or visit our Financial Aid Office, located in the Learning Resources Center - Room LRC-021, north side (parking lot side), lower level.

In order to help you make the best choices in selecting classes, all certificate and degree seeking students are required to take a placement test. No appointment is needed.  Course Placement is available on a walk-in basis.  Learning Resources Center - Room LRC-117.

Meet With Counselor

After you complete your course placement assessment, you will meet with your counselor at the University Transfer, Advising and Career Counseling Office . Location: Learning Resources Center - Room LRC-117. Your counselor is eager to meet you, learn about your educational goals, answer all your questions, and will help you select your first classes.

Register For Classes
Register for your classes through WebAdvisor outside the Registration Office.  Learning Resources Center, lower level.
