For In-District Senior Adult Degree/Certificate Seeking Students

Students who typically choose this category will attend HFCC part time or full time to pursue a Certificate of Achievement or an Associate's Degree.  Seniors age 60 or older who are residents of the Dearborn School District are eligible to participate in college credit courses tuition free. We have people who can make this path easy to follow and get you started in the correct courses.

Complete Course Placement
In order to help you make the best choices in selecting classes, all certificate and degree seeking students are required to take Course Placement. No appointment is needed.  Course Placement is available on a walk-in basis.  Learning Resources Center - Room LRC-117.

Meet With Counselor

After you complete your course placement assessment, you will meet your counselor at the Counseling Office. Location: Learning Resources Center - Room LRC-117. Your counselor is eager to meet you, learn about your educational goals, answer all your questions, and will help you select your first classes.
