Message from HFCC Foundation Board Chair and HFCC President
Dear Donors, Alumni and Friends,
For over 25 years, the Henry Ford Community College Foundation has brought together a diverse group of people who share a passion for accessible, high quality secondary education in our community. These dedicated individuals, companies and organizations have helped the College maintain a key component of its mission....to keep our tuition and fees as affordable as possible so that HFCC continues to be a gateway for students interested in enrolling in our Associate Degree, Certificate and workforce training programs.
The support from our friends, alumni and donors is most impressive...to the tune of nearly $11 million in charitable gifts since the Foundation was established in 1982. This support has been earmarked for such important initiatives as annual and endowed scholarships; new instructional facilities and equipment to aid student instruction; faculty and staff development; and other unique programs and services which had a special meaning to our donors.
We are especially pleased to announce the establishment of The 1938 Society – a series of donor clubs to recognize and thank the diverse funding interests of Foundation contributors. Details about The 1938 Society are contained in this web site and we encourage visitors to consider joining one of these unique donor groups.
