Since 2002, the Beverly G. Duquette Memorial Golf Outing as honored the memory and spirit of Bev Duquette, a dedicated member of the Henry Ford Community College (HFCC)educational community. She began her career at the College in 1981 and during the next 21 years, assisted students, faculty and staff in a variety of capacities in the Office of Student Activities, Admissions and Registration, and Controller's Office. Bev's interest in HFCC students is reflected in the many recipients of her scholarship over the past six years...students who are studying business...an area in which Bev had a special interest.
Since its inception, the Outing has raised over $50,000 for the Beverly G. Duquette Memorial Endowed Scholarship, with Outing sponsors and participants enjoying an 18-hole round of golf; buffet lunch; and numerous door and raffle prizes.
The 2009 Beverly G. Duquette Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on September 19th at Taylor Meadows Golf Club.
