MISSION: To provide education, assistance and intervention in support of a safe and healthy HFCC campus
BIT Purpose
The HFCC Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) provides information and resources to members of the college community
on risk prevention, threat identification, and procedures to report suspicious or threatening behaviors. The BIT
also serves to assess and respond to behaviors exhibited by students and others that pose a threat to themselves
or others in the college community. Finally, the BIT designs strategies for prevention of potential campus threats.
