Study Abroad in Italy

 

   

Robert Cascardo is an adjunct instructor and the Italian Language Coordinator. He has a degree in Italian. He has studied and worked in Italy (Florence, Rome, Turin). He teaches Italian and leads the Italian Study Abroad Program. He also has a JD and practiced International Trade Law for 9 years.

Tom Claerr has taught full-time at HFCC for over 23 years and is the Spanish Language Coordinator. He has a PhD. in Foreign Language Education from Ohio State University, and also has M.A. degrees in Spanish Language and Literature and Latin American History, and certificates in Bilingual Education and Community College Education.

 

 
 

Talaat Pasha is a full-time instructor and the Arabic Language Coordinator. 

 

 
 

   

Lori Slaber is the Chair of World Languages, a full-time instructor, and the French/German Language Coordinator.  She has taught at HFCC for six years, two as an adjunct and then four as a full-time instructor.  She holds degrees in French, German, and ESL/Multilingual/Multicultural Education and has completed coursework for a PhD in English.
