HFCC offers two full years of Foreign Languages that are guaranteed to transfer.  Students can choose courses in Arabic, French, German, and Spanish.  Students can also sign up for a full year of Chinese or Italian.  Instruction includes reading, writing, speaking, listening, as well as cultural elements and critical thinking.  Our comprehensive courses prepare the student for a rewarding international experience.  Communicating in more than one language and the familiarity with another culture are definitely critical for success in a global economy.
