In addition
to recording academic grades at semester end, Registration
and Records is continuously involved with routine maintenance

Grade Changes
When warranted, faculty may change a grade they awarded.
After submission of the grade change to Registration and Records,
a corrected copy of the student transcript will be mailed to the
student at their last address. Grade changes are usually processed
within 48 hours.
Grade Updates
The "I" (Incomplete grade) has a specific time limit. Under college
policy, an "I" (Incomplete grade) must be made up prior to the mid-point
of the next semester. If an Incomplete grade is not changed by the
instructor during the grace period, the "I" grade is converted to
a "DR" (Drop grade). After the grade is changed, a corrected transcript
is mailed to the student.
COURSE
REPEAT
The "R" (Repeat) marks a lower graded attempt of the same course
and thus raises the student's GPA - Grade Point Average. The same
class taken multiple times will be counted once in graduation evaluations.
ACADEMIC
FORGIVENESS
This program provides a second opportunity to former students who
have experienced past academic deficiencies.
Academic Forgiveness requests can be made in person during regular business hours or click here for more information and an Academic Forgiveness form.
