This office provides administrative registration and records support and service to students, faculty and staff.

How to Register for Classes
Students may register for classes in three ways:

  • By using Touch Tone Telephone Registration (TREG) at 313-317-4100,
  • In-person Registration at the Registrat's Office (during regular business hours) .

Information About College Records

Transcripts

Transcript service is available on a walk-in basis during regular business hours or through the mail. (Call, mail or fax 313 845-6464 your transcript request to the Registration Office.) As of January 1, 2008 there is no transcript fee.

Enrollment Verification

Information on required statements to insurance and financial institutions regarding enrollment status, hours earned, last term of attendance, GPA, etc.

Grades

Grades are available on My HFCC WebAdvisor and the TREG touch tone telephone system at 313-317-4100.

Graduation Application and Information

Students can monitor their progression toward degree or certificate completion by logging onto WebAdvisor and selecting Academic Evaluation

Applications for graduation are accepted for three graduation dates (May, August, and December).   Information regarding graduation eligibility is mailed approximately two weeks after the student submits an application for graduation. 

The Commencement ceremony is held in May only.  Potential May graduates, August graduates and December graduates with an Associates degree are invited.  Diplomas are mailed within 4 weeks after graduation.

Transferring

Transfer IN to HFCC

College level coursework from regionally accredited colleges and universities with a "C" grade or better will transfer in. Grades and Grade Point Averages (GPA) do not transfer.
