Honor the philosophy and legacy of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by participating in a one-day service project to help local charities.
Volunteer on Martin Luther King Jr. Day
HFCC's campus is closed on January 21, 2008 in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. So take time that day to volunteer with one of many local organizations, such as nursing homes, shelters, arts projects for children and environmental groups.
You’ll be working side by side with students, staff and faculty from HFCC and other colleges. HFCC's partners include the University of Michigan-Dearborn, Madonna University and United Way for Southeastern Michigan.
How to Volunteer
