Golf is the only NJCAA sport that is co-ed. Although men and women compete on the same team, they do not compete against each other. The golf team was conference champion in 1998. Five members of Hawk golf team in the 90's are currently teaching professionals. The current Head Coach is Pete Rose. Beautiful Dearborn Country Club is the home golf course for the Hawks. Admission is free to HFCC gold matches. The season runs from March 10 – May 15. Golf coach, Pete Rose, began his rookie season in the Spring of 2001. A 1986 graduate of Michigan State University in Telecommunications, Pete played on the Spartan baseball team while attending the University.
