Tutoring is not
limited to assisted learning services students!
Any student experiencing significant academic difficulty in a class
(usually defined as receiving a "C-" or less in that class) can
come to the Assisted Learning Services Department to request tutoring.
Additionally, students on academic probation can request tutoring
prior to experiencing difficulty in a class.
To request a Tutor, you must
print and complete the Tutorial Request
Form , or stop by the Assisted Learning Services Office (LRC-125)
to pick one up. The form must then be signed by your instructor
and a counselor. Due to program restrictions, not every student
can qualify for tutoring through the Assisted Learning Services
program.
Requests will be processed
as soon as possible after they are received and, depending on the
demand, and the type of class, individualized, small group, or lab
tutoring sessions will be arranged. It can be difficult to
find suitable tutors for some classes, so you are encouraged to
file your requests promptly to ensure timely assistance.

- Media Center - interactive videos for math,
chemistry, nursing, and other subjects
