Speak with Your High School CounselorDiscuss with your high school counselor which classes best meet your needs.
Complete the ApplicationPrint and Complete the Dual Enrollment/Advancement Plus Application. Be sure to get all applicable signatures for each class (parent, counselor and principal).
Return the Completed ApplicationReturn the completed Dual Enrollment/Advancement Plus application, in person, to the Admissions, Records and Registration Office in the lower level of the Learning Resources Center (LRC), by fax at 313-845-6464, or by mail at:

What is Advancement Plus?
- Advancement Plus is a program in which public, private, or home-schooled students may take college courses that are paid for by the student's parent/guardian.
- Home-schooled students must get the approval of the HFCC Counseling Director, Diane Green, before he or she can be considered for Advancement Plus. Please contact him at 313-845-9611.
