Become A Student at HFCC - It's Convenient and Easy!
Just complete the steps to success below and you will be ready to start classes. You can complete these steps in one visit in the Learning Resources Building (LRC). The LRC is located near parking lot A. Enter campus through the North entrance. It will take you about two to three hours for everything, and then you’re an HFCC student!
Guest student from another college - For a student enrolled at another college/university who wishes to take classes at HFCC and then return to their current college/university. Please note: Guest students may take any class as long as they meet the class prerequisites.
Complete the Application for Admission
- Students currently attending a Michigan college or university must submit a signed Michigan Uniform Guest Application.
- Students currently attending a college or university not located in Michigan should visit the Office of the Registrar at the school they are currently attending for additional information on obtaining permission to enroll at HFCC as a guest student.
- View Admission Requirements. When you complete an application, a $30 application fee will be charged to your account.
- Please note, guest students are not eligible to receive Financial Aid at Henry Ford Comunity College.
Register for Classes
- Register online using WebAdvisor, or in-person at the Admissions, Registration and Records office on the lower level of the Learning Resources Center.
- Have your classes selected and fill out the Registration form.
- It is a good idea to have an alternative schedule ready in case the class(es) you want are filled.
Pay for Classes
- There are a number of great options to help with paying for tuition at HFCC.
- Pay in cash or credit card in-person at the Cashier’s Office on the lower level of the Learning Resources Center. Call 313-845-9641 or visit www.hfcc.edu/cashiers.
