Not Just for Kids: Maybe YOU Would Like to Attend HFCC

HFCC has a sizeable number of "non-traditional" (over the age of 25) students. Non-traditional students take classes at HFCC for many reasons:

  • To Get a Promotion
  • For a Career Change
  • To Improve Skills
  • To Finish a Degree
  • To Learn for Personal Interest

Many studies have shown adults are more focused learners than children and teens. Plus, they bring real-world experience to academic studies.

Adult students are eligible for most of the same financial aid packages as recent high-school graduates.

Your own future, as well as that of your college student, can begin here at HFCC.

For more information, contact HFCC’s Enrollment Development Office at 313-845-6397.

If you’re interested in personal enrichment or special professional development classes, you might want to explore our non-credit continuing education courses at the Center for Lifelong Learning.
