Ford Road and Evergreen Construction
The Michigan Department of Transportation (M-DOT) has scheduled a construction project on the Ford Road and Evergreen Road interchange. The entrance and exit ramps will be reconstructed as will the deck of the Evergreen Road bridge.
Beginning Monday, September 15, at 9:00 p.m., the exit ramp from west bound Ford Road to Evergreen Road is scheduled to be closed until Saturday, October 25.
Traffic will be rerouted past the interchange. Please use the next available turn around on Ford Road and to back to the exit ramp from east bound Ford Road to Evergreen Road. You may wish to use Michigan Avenue as an alternate route.
Project Overview
The ramps from northbound Evergreen Road to eastbound Ford Road and from westbound Ford Road to Evergreen Road are now open. Construction will begin on the ramp from northbound Evergreen Road to westbound Ford Road.
All construction on the interchange is scheduled to stop by the end of December. At that time, all lanes on Ford Road and Evergreen Road will be opened to traffic. Construction will resume in the spring. We'll keep you posted.
