Beginning Course
As an aspiring graphic designer, familiarize yourself with image creation and editing using this software. Understand the different tools and features to maximize your creative potential. Learn to use layers and to apply layer effects and filters to create special effects. Use painting tools and blending modes to create shading effect. Save images in print and web formats. NEW! Adobe Photoshop CS3 Level 2
Move on in your exploration of Photoshop features as you learn how to use color fills and overlays as well as gradients. Explore various ways to extract an object from an image using a mask. Experiment with vector paths by creating vector masks and converting type into editable shapes. Learn to apply custom brushes, warping, and Smart Filters along with other creative image effects. Create a Great Website with Adobe Dreamweaver
CS3 - Level 1
Let an experienced instructor walk you through the process of creating an intuitive, attractive, and accessible website with the brand new version of Dreamweaver. (Macromedia version users also welcome.) Learn the Dreamweaver interface basics, work with text and images, create links and anchors, create successful navigation and maintain the site. Lots of hands-on practice at your own workstation and plenty of time for questions. Prerequisite: Intro to Computers 1 & 2, or equivalent knowledge is absolutely necessary to participate in this class. Students may wish to bring a USB flash drive to save class work. Text provided.

Adobe Photoshop CS for Photographers
Photographers and studio owners, this workshop is specifically for you! Learn what you need to know about digital retouching and workflow. Get a clear view of what Photoshop can do and learn how to make your images remarkable. Designed by our photography guru, life and style photographer Andreas Browne, and taught by Adrian Herbst. This is an opportunity to work with concrete Photoshop concepts such as retouching, using actions for repetitive jobs, using layers, masks, blending tool secrets and more. Some computer experience is a must for this hands-on workshop. Students may wish to bring a USB flash drive to save class work.

Create a Great Website with

Dreamweaver CS3 - Level 2
This course will cover advanced Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 topics including cascading style sheets, forms, navigation bars, spry widgets, Flash buttons and AP elements. Upon course completion, you will have the skills necessary to create a working website with many advanced features. There will be lots of hands-on practice at your own workstation. Prerequisite: Create a Great Website with Dreamweaver CS3, or equivalent knowledge.

Adobe Illustrator CS3

Adobe® Illustrator® CS3 is a sophisticated graphics application that helps you to create complex and attractive designs with type effects. Create logos, advertisements, and other illustrations with ease using this software. Learn to use Adobe Illustrator CS3 by drawing and manipulating simple shapes to create logos. You will also combine text and graphics to create advertisements. Illustrator is a great companion for Flash and integrates throughout the Adobe Suite. Prerequisite: Intro to Computers 1 & 2, or equivalent knowledge is absolutely necessary to participate in this class. Students may wish to bring a USB flash drive to save
